point out common mistakes to avoid
offer technique tips
provide a window into the minds of high level black belts
give support and encouragement, if you feel like quitting
Can't walk around in your Gi all the time, and unless you're John Danaher that also goes for your rash guard.
Our first MWB shirt will tell the world about your new obsession and invite people who train to yell "Osss" as you stroll down the road, looking for people to arm bar.

MEET
THE FOUNDER
Morbidly obese at 430 pounds, Jim Trick was trapped in a life, body, and mindset from which he thought there was no escape.
Now over 220 pounds lighter, Trick has devoted his life to empowering individuals to change what’s possible.
Jim founded MY WHITE BELT in 2021 as an outlet for his own personal BJJ journey. After seeing that his observations resonated with people training all over the world, he decided to create this community so that he could have more opportunities to help others.
Jim currently holds a one stripe, BJJ purple belt. He trains 5-6 days per week and teaches beginner adults in his home town of Marblehead, MA.
